  1. Consultation:

    • Stuart (from the auction company) visits the seller's property to evaluate the items and the layout for an auction setup.

    • A mutual decision is made to proceed.

  2. Contract & Listing:

    • A contract is signed between the seller and the auction company.

    • Stuart and an assistant will then list and photograph the items.

    • The sale can be posted online within 7 days.

  3. Bidding & Viewing:

    • Bidding opens as soon as the auction is posted.

    • Set viewing days are scheduled for potential buyers to inspect the items.

    • Seller's Responsibility: The seller or their family must be on-site to allow buyers access during these viewing days.

  4. Payment & Pickup:

    • Auction Company's Responsibility: McSherry is responsible for collecting payments from the winning bidders and ensuring they arrange to pick up their items.

    • 2-3 specific pickup days are scheduled after the auction closes.

    • Seller's Responsibility: The seller or their family must be present during the pickup days to assist with the load-out of purchased items.
